Gossip Girl is an American drama television series based on the book series of the same name written by Cecily von Ziegesar. Narrated by the omniscient yet unseen blogger “Gossip Girl,” the series revolves around the lives of wealthy teenagers at an elite prep school growing up on New York City’s Upper East Side.
The series first aired on September 18, 2007 in Canada on CTV before premiering in the U.S. a day later on The CW. The show received the first full season order of 18 episodes of the 2007/2008 television season of the five major broadcast networks in October 2007. Following the 2007-2008 Writers Guild of America strike, Gossip Girl returned on Monday, April 21, 2008 to finish the first season. The CW has renewed the show for a third season, which premieres on September 14, 2009. It will be on Monday nights at 9.

Ei bine titlul spune totul : intriga, barfa, interes, moda.
Gossip girl este o lume in care toti tind spre perfectiune insa personajele detin imperfectiunea. Exista o adevarata batalie intre prietenii, relatii familiale si viata de liceean/student. Pe parcursul episoadelor se observa o traire diferita a personajelor in situatii: acestia evolueaza si devin mai puternici, mai stabili, mai stiuti.
Blair Waldorf este personajul central al serialului. Ea este o adevarata valoare a existentului, domina si se implica in actiuni riscante. Blair este o adolescenta fermecatoare, are o situatie financiara foarte buna, de aceea considera ca poate avea tot ce isi doreste. De asemenea are in sange manipularea, pe care o exteriorizeaza diabolic. Prietena ei cea mai buna este Serena van der Woodsen care la inceputul primului sezon o dezamageste profund pe Blair, culcandu’se cu prietenul acesteia. Blair si Nate nu au o relatie tocmai stabila, se cearta si se impaca de dragul trecutului. Pe plan sentimental aceasta oscileaza intre pasiune si ratiune, Chuck fiind obsesia ei ascunsa pe care nici macar ea nu o poate controla. Frumoasa adolescenta nu este tocmai cea mai silitoare fata din liceu si de aceea intampina diferite obstacole pentru a-si atinge visul, intrand in final la Universitatea Yale.
Serena van der Woodsen este o frumoasa adolescenta care tinde spre o perfectiune indecisa. Aceasta este o romantica seducatoare , traind adevarate povesti de dragoste cu Dan Humphrey, Nate Archibald, Aaron Rose. Serena devine o muza foarte buna a barfelor din liceu, drept dovada a trecutului, cand isi tradeaza cea buna prietena, Blair. Pe plan profesional, Serena detine multe optiuni, insa incearca sa descopere cea mai buna varianta.
Chuck Bass este tipicul adolescentului fermecator, cu bani si femei. Descopera o pasiune ascunsa pentru Blair, cei doi avand in comun diabolicul si popularitatea. Acestia oscileaza intre iubire si razboi, facandu-se criticati prin barfele liceului. Prietenul sau cel mai bun este Nate Archibald , singurul care il vede pe Chuck un prieten bun.
Nate Archibald este atragator si mai degajat ca Chuck. Nate are numeroase aventuri cu fete frumoase, insa cea mai serioasa relatie se dovedeste a fi cu Blair. Este indecis sa aleaga intre Serena si Blair. Are multe probleme familiare, care sunt depasite cu efort.
Dan Humphrey este tipul pesimist, romantic, are o usoara atractie spre literatura , scrie poezii, povesti, compune cantece. Are o relatie siropoasa cu Serena. Vanessa Abrams este prietena lui cea mai buna , fosta iubita. Este interesat de problemele familiale si incearca sa-si protejeze sora, Jenny.
Jenny Humphrey incearca sa se adapteze standardelor comunitatii , incercand din greu sa faca fata. Devine independenta, ceea ce ii aduce mult succes.
Vanessa Abrams este contrariul “fetelor de bani gata” si nu doreste sa iasa in evidenta. Singurul ei bun prieten este Dan. Are o relatie cu Nate Archibald , insa nu de durata.
Gossip Girl atrage atentia prin problemele adolescentilor din prezent, avand o ilustrare a viciilor si coruperilor expusa intr’un mod plauzibil.
Pentru fetele curioase, vizionati fara regrete 🙂

My god what a end of a season .Did Cuck died ???. 😦 and Dan hahaha:))=))) and a tought that Chuck and Blaier are going to be togheter aghen :|..I never imagined such a good season ending .. When is the next season going to come out ?

The first episode from season 4 is not interesting at all! i mean , it’s the same thing again and again! Blair is a bitch ,the stupid Serena is always forgiving her, Chuck has always a girl and lonely boy …eeh.. well will be lonely… after Georgina’s plan to go to the spa and never come back. And, it was so foreseeable that the producers will reveal who’s GG. Poor, Nate, that’s all I can say… Until next episode… Xoxo, Lory
